ZZZ Robin Build Guide: Kit, Drive Discs & Materials
With the Version 3.4 Honkai: Star Rail crossover on the horizon, Robin is headed to Zenless Zone Zero — and the data revealed so far points to a clear identity: an Ether Defense support whose whole kit is built around Max HP, squad-wide shields, off-field attacks, and Entry Points.
Below you'll find everything currently known about her: the full skill set, Core Passive, Mindscape Cinema, the best Drive Disc setup, her rotation, and the complete materials list.

Role |
HP-Scaling Shielder / Off-Field Support |
Nearly everything Robin does gets stronger the more initial Max HP she stacks: her shields, the DEF support from Off-Field Guard, and a portion of her Enhanced Aftershock damage are all HP-based.
That makes HP the one stat to prioritize above all else when putting her build together.
Robin Core Mechanics
|
Mechanic |
Effect |
|
Robin Shield |
Reapplying the shield stacks its value, up to a cap of 8% of Robin's initial Max HP. The character holding the shield also gains 25% increased DMG for 15s. |
|
Off-Field Guard |
Robin can stay off-field for as long as 60s, providing DEF support while her Aftershocks keep firing. |
|
Entry Points |
Aftershocks build Entry Points, capped at 120. Once Robin reaches 100, she can return to the battle through her Entry Skill. |
|
Buff Enhance Point |
Earned whenever Robin uses her Entry Skill. Her next Off-Field Guard spends it to raise both the DEF bonus and its cap by 25%. |
Robin Skill Kit
Basic Attack: Robin Attack
Robin swings up to three times in a row, dealing Ether DMG with each hit.
The three hits scale to 76%, 88%, and 230.7% DMG at Lv.12.
Dodge: Robin Dodge
A quick dash that leaves Robin completely invulnerable throughout the animation.
Dash Attack: Robin Dash
An Ether DMG strike carrying a 252.6% DMG Multiplier and 74.9% Daze Multiplier at Lv.12.
Dodge Counter: Robin Counter
Following a Perfect Dodge, Robin strikes enemies in front of her with her staff.
This lands for 663.4% DMG and 338.9% Daze at Lv.12.
Entry Skill: Robin Entrance
Once Robin holds 100 or more Entry Points, switching her onto the field burns 100 of them and unleashes a powerful Energy blast.
The move counts as a Quick Assist and hands the entire squad a Robin Shield worth 4% of Robin's initial Max HP for 20 seconds.
At Lv.12, Robin Entrance reaches a 2128.8% DMG Multiplier.
Defensive Assist
Robin parries incoming attacks and piles on heavy Daze.
Her Light, Heavy, and Chain Defensive Daze Multipliers sit at 407.7%, 514.4%, and 250.4% at Lv.12.
Counter Assist
Against certain enemy Control Skills, Robin can force a power clash to counter — and a successful clash nullifies the attack entirely.
She also carries several Assist Follow-Ups, such as Grapple Assault and Grappling Synergy Strike.
Special Attack: Robin Exit
Robin lands an Ether DMG hit, queues up a Quick Assist, and slips into Off-Field Guard after switching out.
Switching out also applies a Robin Shield worth 2% of her initial Max HP for 15 seconds.
During Off-Field Guard, Robin lifts the whole squad's DEF. Past 16,000 initial Max HP, every extra 1,000 HP converts into 80 DEF, capped at 800 DEF.
Special Attack: Aftershock
While Robin is off-field, the active Agent's attacks can fire an Aftershock once every 8 seconds.
Every Aftershock adds 20 Entry Points and shields the squad with a Robin Shield equal to 3% of Robin's initial Max HP.
EX Special Attack: Enhanced Aftershock
With at least 40 Energy banked, Aftershock upgrades into its Enhanced form.
The Enhanced version drains 40 Energy, hits much harder with Ether DMG, adds bonus attack damage equal to 55% of Robin's Max HP, generates 20 Entry Points, and applies a beefier shield worth 6% of initial Max HP.
Chain Attack
Robin fires a heavy laser straight ahead.
It deals 1379% DMG at Lv.12.
Ultimate
Robin channels her song into a devastating burst of Ether DMG.
Once activated, 40% of each Agent's current Robin Shield converts into that Agent's HP.
Robin Core Passive
Robin's Core Passive is what stitches her shields, team buff, Entry Point loop, and Off-Field Guard state into one coherent cycle.
Certain skills grant every squad member a Robin Shield worth a percentage of her initial Max HP for 15 seconds.
Picking up Robin Shield again stacks the value and stretches the duration, up to 60 seconds total. The shield can never exceed 8% of Robin's initial Max HP.
Each time a squad member receives Robin Shield, their DMG rises by 25% for 15 seconds, with repeat triggers refreshing the timer.
After using her Special Attack and switching out, Robin enters Off-Field Guard for 60 seconds — a state in which her Aftershocks accumulate Entry Points up to 120.
At 100 or more Entry Points, she can manually jump back in through her Entry Skill, spending 100 points and closing out Off-Field Guard.
Entry Skill also hands Robin 1 Buff Enhance Point. The next time she enters Off-Field Guard, that point is spent to boost both the DEF bonus and its cap by 25%.
On top of that, Robin regains 15 Energy whenever a squad member triggers Maim.
Additional Ability
Robin's Additional Ability comes online when another squad member is an Armorer or Stun Agent.
Entering battle grants her 1 Buff Enhance Point. In Domain Mode, this effect can trigger once every 180 seconds.
Robin Mindscape Cinema
Readable data currently exists for only the first three Mindscape effects; M4–M6 remain placeholders.
Mindscape 1
Every time Robin spends a Buff Enhance Point, the whole squad gains 20% Laceration DMG for 60 seconds.
She also banks a stack of Feather Defense. When the active Agent takes a hit, one stack is spent to grant them brief invulnerability.
The result is both another team-wide damage buff and an emergency defensive tool.
Mindscape 2
Each time Robin fires an Aftershock, all squad members' damage ignores 12% of the enemy's RES for 15 seconds.
Agents protected by Robin Shield additionally gain a higher Anti-Interrupt level.
Since Aftershock is already baked into her standard Off-Field Guard loop, this buff should stay up almost effortlessly.
Mindscape 3
Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2.
Mindscape 4, 5, and 6 still run on placeholder data and will be updated as soon as the full effects are revealed.
Robin Skill Rotation
Robin lives off the field for most of a fight, so her rotation is all about keeping Off-Field Guard running and milking Aftershocks as often as possible.
Robin Exit → Off-Field Guard → active Agent attacks → Aftershock / Enhanced Aftershock → build Entry Points and Robin Shield → reach 100 Entry Points → Robin Entrance → gain Buff Enhance Point → re-enter Off-Field Guard
Because Robin Shield also packs a 25% DMG increase, refreshing it on schedule matters for both survival and team damage.
After Robin triggers Entry Skill, her next Off-Field Guard also benefits from the enhanced DEF effect tied to Buff Enhance Point.
Best Drive Discs for Robin
|
Bunny in Wonderland 4-Pc |
4-Pc: When the equipper is a Defense Agent, using an EX Special Attack or triggering a Defensive Assist or Evasive Assist increases all squad members' DMG by 6%, stacking up to 3 times for 25 seconds. |
|
Yunkui Tales 2-Pc |
2-Pc: HP +10% |
For Robin's support-first kit, Bunny in Wonderland is the clear best-in-slot choice right now.
The set clicks with her naturally: she is a Defense Agent, and EX Special Attack plus Assist mechanics are already core parts of her normal rotation.
Its bonus team DMG also stacks cleanly with the 25% DMG Bonus from Robin Shield.
For the remaining 2-piece slot, Yunkui Tales is the most direct pick.
That extra HP feeds directly into Robin Shield, her Off-Field Guard DEF scaling, and Enhanced Aftershock damage.
Alternative: Swing Jazz 2-Pc
|
|
2-Pc: Energy Regen +20% |
If her HP is already comfortable but the 40-Energy cost of Enhanced Aftershock keeps falling short, Swing Jazz 2-Pc makes a solid backup.
This swap could prove even more valuable if keeping Enhanced Aftershock up consistently turns out to be tricky in real rotations.
Robin Drive Disc Main Stats

Slot |
Recommended Main Stat |
|
4 |
HP% > CRIT Rate |
|
5 |
HP% > Ether DMG Bonus |
|
6 |
HP% > Energy Regen |
Recommended Substats: HP% > HP
Since nearly all of Robin's support value keys off initial Max HP, running full HP% main stats is currently the safest possible build.
CRIT Rate, Ether DMG Bonus, and Energy Regen only become worth considering once her HP thresholds are comfortably met.

Final Thoughts
There is already enough pre-release data to have most of Robin's build ready before Version 3.4 drops. The details still worth tracking are her final boss-material names, the remaining Mindscape effects, and any balance adjustments made ahead of launch.
With Robin set to be handed out for free during the collaboration, farming her materials early means she can hit the ground running the moment she joins your roster. If you're also saving pulls for the other Version 3.4 banners, you can top up Zenless Zone Zero on WISHGM before the update goes live.
