ZZZ 3.2 | Roxy Best Build Guide: Kit, Materials, W-Engines & Team

The second new character arriving on September 20 in Version 3.2 is Roxy, and her combat style is quite different from Claret's. Like Claret, Roxy's main stat is DEF, but her gameplay focuses more on battlefield control and sustained pressure. Managing Energy, positioning Wind Eyes, and controlling tornadoes are all key parts of her kit, making movement an important part of how she fights.

This Roxy Build Guide covers her core mechanics, recommended gear, and team compositions, helping you get familiar with her playstyle before Version 3.2 arrives.

Roxy Overview

Rarity: S-Rank | Attribute: Wind | Specialty: Stun

Roxy is an on-field main DPS who continuously converts Energy into Wind Energy to generate Wind Eyes. She can then use her charged hammer attacks to detonate these Wind Eyes, creating tornadoes that track enemies and keep pressure on them.

Her EX Special Attack, Riding the Wind, takes her battlefield control even further by allowing players to manually guide a tornado across the field. With the ability to direct its movement, Roxy can control where the attack goes and hit enemies from different positions.

CORE SKILL

· Core Passive

For every 30 Energy consumed, Roxy gains 1 [Wind Energy], up to a maximum of 3.

When Roxy's initial DEF exceeds 1,500, each point of DEF above 1,500 increases ATK by 1.4 and Impact by 0.2, up to a maximum increase of 1,000 ATK and 60 Impact.

When CRIT Rate is at or above 65% during combat, Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 60%. CRIT DMG of other non-[Armorer] characters in the squad increases by 32%, while CRIT Rate of [Armorer] characters increases by 16%. These effects last until 30s after combat ends.

Roxy W-Engine

Signature Weapon

Roxy W-Engine

Base ATK: 713 | Energy Regen: 60%

Effect (R5):

Increases the equipper's CRIT Rate by 32%. DMG dealt ignores 24% of the target's Wind Attribute RES. When the equipper launches an [EX Special Attack] that deals Wind DMG, Daze inflicted increases by 25.6%, and DMG dealt by all other characters in the squad increases by 32% for 50s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. The DMG increase effect is unique across the entire squad.

Roxy's signature W-Engine is designed specifically around her kit. It provides Energy Regen to help her use EX Special Attacks more frequently, while the CRIT Rate makes it easier to reach the 65% CRIT Rate requirement for her team buffs. The Wind RES reduction and increased Daze help her apply more pressure and Stun enemies faster, while the team-wide DMG buff adds even more value for the rest of the squad.

Other Options

As a Stun Agent, Roxy has several W-Engines that can work well with her. If you don't have her signature W-Engine, other Stun options can still support her playstyle.

Roxy Drive Discs

Roxy needs a high CRIT Rate to activate her Core Passive buffs, making the 4-piece King of the Summit set a strong choice for her. For the 2-piece set, choose an option that helps fill whatever stats you're missing.

KING OF THE SUMMIT

4-PIECE SET

When the equipper is a Stun character and uses an EX Special Attack or Chain Attack, increases CRIT DMG of all squad members by 15%. When the equipper's CRIT Rate is at least 50%, further increases CRIT DMG by 15% for 15s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Passive effects with the same name do not stack.
