NIKKE 4th Anniversary Livestream Summary: New Characters, 259 Free Pulls & Events

GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE has officially pulled back the curtain on its 4th Anniversary update, and this year's celebration revolves around the Third Surface Reclamation War.

The update goes live on October 29, 2026, packing in three new Pilgrim Nikkes, Main Story Chapters 49 and 50, the new MARIA-n story event, fresh costumes, anniversary rewards, and up to 259 free recruit opportunities.

NIKKE 4th Anniversary at a Glance

New 4th Anniversary Characters

Three new Pilgrim Nikkes took the stage during the livestream: Marian and Scarlet get new versions, while Rapunzel is handed out as the free anniversary SSR.

Marian: Queen

Marian: Queen stands among the headliners of the 4th Anniversary.

She is a Fire-code Burst III Attacker wielding a Machine Gun, built for hitting multiple enemies at once. Her Burst pushes her offensive power even higher while letting her strike several targets in a single sweep.

Her story also takes center stage in the new MARIA-n event, which digs deeper into Marian's past and her bond with the Commander.

Marian: Queen's Pick-Up Recruitment opens with the anniversary update on October 29 and closes on November 19.

Scarlet: Goddeath

Scarlet: Goddeath is Scarlet's new upgraded form.

She is a Fire-code Burst III Attacker armed with an Assault Rifle, with a kit that leans into Pierce attacks. Triggering her Burst reinforces her offense and unlocks heavier-hitting strikes.

Her new form is woven tightly into Scarlet's story and the legacy of Rose, with her gear upgraded through Eden's technology.

Scarlet: Goddeath's Pick-Up Recruitment is set to run from November 5 to November 26.

Rapunzel: Sanctuary Is Free

The third new Pilgrim is Rapunzel: Sanctuary, and players can claim her for free during the anniversary.

Rapunzel: Sanctuary is a Fire-code Burst II Supporter carrying a Rocket Launcher. Her attacks heal allies while boosting the team's damage, and her Burst layers on even more offensive support.

Through anniversary login and event rewards, players can pick up up to four copies of Rapunzel: Sanctuary, pushing her to Max Limit Break without ever touching the standard recruitment banner.

Up to 259 Free Pulls During the 4th Anniversary

The anniversary brings a mountain of free recruitment opportunities.

Per the official 4th Anniversary announcement, players can rack up up to 259 free recruit attempts through login rewards, anniversary events, minigames, free daily recruits, web events, and other activities.

The haul includes Advanced Recruit Vouchers, standard Recruit Vouchers, free pulls on anniversary banners, and special recruitment rewards.

There will also be 4th Anniversary Nikke Selection Boxes, with options including:

New Story Event: MARIA-n

The flagship 4th Anniversary event goes by the name MARIA-n.

The story trails Marian as she wakes inside a sprawling research facility and sets out to explore both the facility and the surface, all while unearthing hidden memories and secrets.

Marian has always been bound tightly to the main story, so MARIA-n looks poised to plug directly into the larger conflict swirling around the Queen and the Third Surface Reclamation War.

The event also debuts a new Marian theme song, Call My Name Again.

New Minigame: Fading Affection

The anniversary minigame is Fading Affection, a choice-driven text adventure.

Players revisit fragments of old memories and make different choices that can steer the story toward different outcomes.

Structurally it echoes the White Memory minigame from OVER ZONE, leaning harder into story choices and alternate endings than combat.

Main Story Chapters 49 & 50

NIKKE's main story marches on with Chapters 49 and 50.

The Third Surface Reclamation War escalates into full-scale conflict as humanity squares off against the Raptures and the Queen.

The update also fields two new bosses:

The Goddess of Victory boss embodies the Queen fused with the orbital elevator and looks to be one of the central threats of the new story arc.

New 4th Anniversary Costumes

Several new costumes also made an appearance during the livestream.

Marian's Last Affection costume puts her in a wedding dress and bundles in extra presentation touches such as a Burst animation and costume-specific effects.

Several previously released costumes will also make a comeback during the anniversary period.

Other Anniversary Events

The 4th Anniversary update ships with a handful of smaller events alongside MARIA-n.

Trail Marker pays out as players push through the new Main Story chapters, with rewards including Recruit Vouchers and Custom Modules.

Volt Trip is a dice-driven event where completing daily tasks moves Volt around the board, collecting rewards such as Advanced Recruit Vouchers and Custom Modules along the way.

NIKKE is also running anniversary web events, Twitch viewing rewards, community campaigns, and other login activities throughout the celebration.

There will also be a TRACING THE STARS x Stellar Blade music collaboration, adding 22 Stellar Blade tracks to NIKKE, four of which are free.
