Si and Ye Minghui Headline the 1.6 Banner in Arknights: Endfield

Welcome back, Endministrators — two brand-new 6-star Operators are on the way, courtesy of the Arknights: Endfield 1.6 banner: Si in Phase 1, alongside the Hongshan Imperial Guard, who is currently going by the leaked name Ye Minghui, in Phase 2.

Official previews of future versions have already featured both of them, but details on their rarity, classes, elements, kit, and where they land on the Version 1.6 banners have not been officially confirmed yet.

Arknights Endfield 1.6 — Release Date

Version cycles in Endfield have typically hovered around six to seven weeks. As for Version 1.5, its official launch came on September 2, 2026.

So Arknights: Endfield Version 1.6 is expected to launch around October 15.

New Characters in Endfield 1.6

Phase 1: Si

Rarity 6★ | Element Heat | Class Caster

Si is currently expected to be the first new 6-star Operator of Version 1.6.

She's the Feranmut Proxy tied to Sui, wielding Ink Spirits, scrolls, and butterfly-like constructs — and Endministrators have already encountered her both in Endfield's story and in previews of future versions.

Earlier information reportedly put Si down as Nature, so hold off on counting Heat as her confirmed element until the official Combat Overview drops.

Reliable details about how she actually fights are still scarce at the moment. Ink Spirits and scrolls plays a major role in the abilities she displays throughout the story, yet it's unclear how any of that will carry over into her playable kit.

Phase 2: Ye Minghui

Rarity: 6★ | Element: Electric | Class: Vanguard | Weapon: Polearm

Filling the other anticipated 1.6 slot is the Hongshan Imperial Guard that official preview material already showed us.

Leaks currently identify him as Ye Minghui. The blond male Operator seen wielding a polearm with an Imperial Guard-style design is the one in question. And unlike Si, he has far more early kit information circulating.

An important conflict surfaces here, though.

Newer leaks label him an Electric Vanguard, whereas older information had described him as Physical. Several Physical-related effects also appear in his leaked kit, leaving his final element uncertain.

What makes his Vanguard class especially intriguing is how heavily his leaked mechanics seem tied to Skill Point efficiency and burst preparation.

Getting Prepared for Endfield 1.6

Should Si and Ye Minghui both show up once Version 1.6 lands, it could mark another update with two new 6-star Operators. Our Arknights: Endfield banner roadmap also outlines the wider 2026 banner schedule.

Holding onto Oroberyl is the safer play compared with pre-farming character-specific materials from leaks, at least while their kits stay unconfirmed.
