Overview

Rarity: 5-star | Class: Defender | Weapon: Sword | Element: Physical
Purrchena is a 5-star Physical Defender in Arknights: Endfield who combines frontline protection with healing, crowd control, Stagger, and Nature Infliction. Instead of functioning purely as a traditional tank, she acts as a versatile defensive support who can protect vulnerable carries while also helping teams apply Nature Infliction.
Her wide range of utility makes her particularly useful in Typhoeus teams, where she can provide both defensive support and Infliction utility without requiring a separate slot for each role.
Skills & Leveling Priority
Normal Attack — Dessert! Have Some!
Purrchena performs up to 3 attack sequences, dealing Physical DMG. Performing a Finisher deals heavy Physical DMG and restores a portion of her SP.
Battle Skill — I'm Not Sleeping!
Purrchena raises her shield to block incoming attacks, granting Protection to herself and nearby Operators while also increasing their resistance to interruption. Her first successful block extends the skill duration and restores additional SP, while continued blocking gradually reduces the Protection effect.
After a short period, the skill can be cast again without consuming SP. This recast deals Nature DMG and applies Nature Infliction, making it one of the most important parts of her kit. It is especially valuable for teams that need consistent Nature application.
Combo Skill — Cake or "Prezzie"
Trigger: When the Controlled Operator is attacked.
Purrchena throws a Giftbox toward the Controlled Operator, immediately providing HP Treatment to Operators within its AoE. The Giftbox then randomly generates one of three additional effects:
· Bomb: Deals Physical DMG and additional Stagger.
· Handicraft: Continuously pulls nearby enemies together while dealing Physical DMG.
· Yummy Dessert: Continuously restores HP to the Controlled Operator.
This makes her Combo Skill a reactive defensive ability that can provide healing while also offering additional Stagger, crowd control, or sustained recovery depending on the Giftbox result.
Ultimate — Naughty Is Banned!
Purrchena opens 3 Big Feline's Prezzies simultaneously. Each gift randomly produces either a Bomb, which deals additional Stagger, or a Handicraft, which groups nearby enemies together.
There is also a chance for one of the gifts to become Ambassador's Special, applying Arts Susceptibility to affected enemies. This gives Purrchena additional offensive utility for Arts-based carries, although the exact activation chance has not yet been officially revealed.
Purrchena Skill Priority
Battle Skill > Combo Skill > Ultimate > Normal Attack
Prioritize Purrchena's Battle Skill first because it provides her main defensive utility while its free recast applies Nature Infliction. This makes the skill particularly important when she is used in Typhoeus teams.
Her Combo Skill should come next thanks to its reliable reactive healing and the additional Stagger, grouping, or sustain provided by the Giftbox effects.
The Ultimate is useful for crowd control, Stagger, and its potential Arts Susceptibility effect, but its random nature makes it less consistent than her first two skills. Normal Attack should be the lowest priority because Purrchena's main role is defensive and supportive rather than dealing Physical damage herself.

Best Team Comps
This team gives Typhoeus a highly stable burst setup. Purrchena provides Nature Infliction for Typhoeus to consume while also protecting her during Hovering. Liino adds healing, ATK buffs, and Nature Amp, directly boosting Typhoeus's damage.
Ardelia further improves burst damage through Corrosion and Arts Susceptibility. Trigger her debuffs before Typhoeus enters her main damage window, while Purrchena and Liino handle sustain and keep the rotation safe.
This lineup focuses more on grouping and Arts-Reaction utility. Purrchena and Gilberta both provide Nature Infliction, while Gilberta groups enemies inside Typhoeus's Barrage Array and adds Arts Susceptibility. Purrchena also supplies Protection and extra crowd control.
Perlica contributes Electric damage, SP-efficient tempo, and helps trigger Gilberta's Combo. Just avoid consuming Nature Infliction with Electrification before Typhoeus uses it—let Typhoeus generate her Signs first, then trigger reactions afterward.
Conclusion
Purrchena's combination of survivability and Nature Infliction makes her a flexible support, especially alongside Typhoeus. As more of her final build details become available, we'll continue updating this guide with the best gear, stats, and rotations.
