Where Winds Meet Bamboo Cut – гайд (черновик)

If you thought Bamboo Cut – Draught was simply another flashy martial art, there's much more to it than that. This new set turns drunkenness into a combat resource, letting you enter a short but powerful burst state and unleash a series of enhanced attacks.

In this guide, we'll explain how Draught's mechanics work, how to build Drunkenness efficiently, which Inner Ways and stats to focus on, and how to perform its core DPS rotation.

WISHGM Where Winds Meet (Global) top-ups offer a convenient way to get the in-game resources you need.

Bamboo Cut – Draught Core Mechanics

The key mechanic of Draught is its Drunkenness gauge, displayed as two flask icons above your skill bar. The gauge can hold up to 200 points, with each flask representing 100 points.

You begin combat with 60 Drunkenness, and the gauge will not naturally drop below this starting amount. From there, the goal is to reach the two important thresholds as quickly as possible:

· 100 Drunkenness – Tipsy State: Unlocks the special Drunken Fist skill and provides additional Critical Rate.

· 200 Drunkenness – Intoxicated State: Activates a powerful 5-second burst window, granting additional Critical Damage and unlocking Draught's main enhanced attacks.

Once you reach full Drunkenness, two attacks become the primary sources of burst damage: the enhanced Drunken Fist Heavy Attack and the enhanced Dual Blade Special Skill. The Heavy Attack contains four strikes with six total damage instances, making it important to use the 200-point window efficiently.

How to Build Drunkenness Fast

Draught has several ways to recover Drunkenness, but some methods are much more practical than others during combat.

The first is the unenhanced Heavy Attack. Holding the attack allows your character to drink and gradually restore Drunkenness. While this method works, standing still to drink during a boss encounter is generally inefficient and can leave you exposed to attacks.

A more effective option is the Dual Blade Special Skill, which immediately restores 40 Drunkenness when it hits a boss. You can then use the Fast Drink mechanic to quickly recover another 50 points.

After using a martial art skill or the Drunken Fist Special Skill, press or hold R when your character flashes to activate Fast Drink and recover 50 Drunkenness. Precise timing is not essential. Holding R or pressing it repeatedly after the skill will generally trigger the mechanic.

This creates a much more efficient opening sequence:

60 starting points → Dual Blade Special → 100 → Drunken Fist Q + Fast Drink → 150 → Drunken Fist Special + Fast Drink → 200

Once you reach 200 Drunkenness, the Intoxicated State begins, allowing you to move directly into the main burst rotation.

The Best Draught Opening

For a clean opener, focus on building the Drunkenness gauge instead of spending extra time on the basic drinking animation.

Start with the Dual Blade Special Skill to gain 40 points and reach the 100-point threshold. Quickly switch to Drunken Fist, perform the two-stage Q sequence, and activate Fast Drink with R. This provides another 50 points.

Next, use the Drunken Fist Special Skill and trigger Fast Drink again. This brings your Drunkenness to 200 and activates the burst phase.

There are two ways to complete the second part of the Drunken Fist Special Skill. You can follow it with a Light Attack for a faster transition, or use the Special Skill again for slightly higher damage at the cost of a longer animation. For practical DPS, the Light Attack option is generally more convenient because it lets you enter the burst window sooner.

The Dual Blade Heavy Attack can also generate Drunkenness through Fast Drink, but it is better used as a backup option. If part of the Drunken Fist sequence is interrupted or missed, it can help restore the rotation. Otherwise, spending additional time on it may delay your burst setup.

Essential Buffs and Inner Ways

Draught's damage is not determined by its burst state alone. The right buffs and Inner Ways are essential for keeping the rotation efficient and getting the most out of each burst window.

The first major buff comes from the Dual Blade Special Skill, Embibe. It increases the amount of Drunkenness generated by other skills. Without this effect, Fast Drink interactions with Drunken Fist generate considerably less Drunkenness, making it much harder to reach the 200-point threshold quickly.

The second key effect is Drunken Execution, which becomes available when the new signature Inner Way reaches Tier 6. When the Dual Blade Special Skill hits a boss, it applies a debuff. While the debuff is active, damage dealt by enhanced Drunken Fist Heavy Attacks and Dual Blade attacks is stored and then detonated when the effect expires. You can also trigger the detonation early and immediately reapply the debuff.

For the Inner Way setup, the priority is relatively simple:

· 1 Signature Gold Inner Way

· 2 Offensive Purple Inner Ways

· Moral Chant

The Signature Gold Inner Way is particularly important. At Tier 6, it increases damage dealt to bosses by 40%. Its effect becomes even more valuable when fighting a boss in an exhausted state.

If you strike an exhausted boss while your Drunkenness is below 200, the effect can immediately fill the gauge and activate the Intoxicated State. If you have already reached 200 Drunkenness, hitting the boss instead extends the duration of the state. This gives you an important way to maintain your burst window without having to rebuild the gauge from the beginning.

Bamboo Cut Talents and Stat Priorities

As a Bamboo Cut path, Draught benefits greatly from Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Agility, and Physical Attack scaling. However, there is no need to stack every stat indiscriminately. Instead, aim for enough Agility and Minimum Physical Attack to activate all available talent nodes.

For general gear tuning, Boss Damage Boost and Martial Art Damage Boost should be your main priorities.

From there, you can choose between two different physical-damage approaches.

Maximum Physical Damage Build

For a more traditional setup, prioritize:

1.Critical Rate

2.Agility

3.Power

4.Minimum/Maximum Physical Damage

5.Bamboo Cut Attack

This build is relatively easy to put together and offers a balanced mix of consistency and overall damage.

Minimum Physical Damage Build

For players looking to push the build's maximum potential, Minimum Physical Attack becomes the main focus.

Prioritize two lines of Minimum Physical Attack together with Agility on your gear, followed by Bamboo Cut Attack. Power and Maximum Physical Attack become considerably less important with this approach.

The trade-off is straightforward: this setup offers a higher damage ceiling, but it is more difficult to optimize because the goal is to push your Minimum Physical Attack as high as possible.

Draught Gear and Attunement

Bamboo Cut – Draught has its own dedicated gear set, making the new set the preferred option rather than combining it with unrelated equipment.

The offensive set bonus can provide up to 5% increased damage to all attack types, along with 5% bonus HP damage against bosses while you are in the 200-point burst state. These effects fit particularly well with Draught's burst-focused playstyle.

A defensive version is also available. It reduces incoming damage by 5% and incoming Critical Damage by 10% while you are in the 200-point state. However, players focused on maximizing DPS will generally benefit more from the offensive version.

For Attunement, the priorities are straightforward:

· Offensive pieces: Physical Penetration

· Defensive pieces: Bonus Skill Damage during the 200-point state

This setup is designed around Draught's short but powerful burst windows, allowing your stats to directly support its main damage cycle instead of being spread across effects with less impact on its core rotation.

Highest-Damage Combat Rotation

Once you are comfortable with the Drunkenness-building sequence, Draught's main DPS rotation becomes relatively straightforward.

A standard rotation can be summarized as:

Flute → Cancel → Dual Blade E → Fast Switch → Drunken Fist Q + Fast Drink → Drunken Fist E + Light Attack + Fast Drink → 200-point Burst

After entering the Intoxicated State, perform three consecutive enhanced Drunken Fist Heavy Attack sequences. Then quickly switch back to Dual Blade and immediately use the enhanced Dual Blade Special Skill.

This forms the core of your damage rotation.

Once the Dual Blade Special Skill connects, continue into the next loop instead of unnecessarily resetting your rotation. Repeating this sequence is currently the main way to maximize Draught's burst damage.

You can also incorporate other Mystic Skills, such as Leaping Todd or Soaring Spin, after completing a full rotation. These are optional additions rather than essential parts of the build, so avoid disrupting your main burst sequence just to force them into every rotation.

How to Exploit Boss Exhaustion

Boss exhaustion is where Draught's mechanics become especially valuable.

As a boss approaches the exhausted state, pay close attention to the timing of your Dual Blade Special Skill. Ideally, its effect should expire while the boss is still exhausted.

If your burst is already prepared, use the enhanced Dual Blade Special Skill first. Then switch to Drunken Fist and cast one Q. With the Signature Inner Way active, this can immediately restore your gauge to the 200 Drunkenness state, allowing you to continue your enhanced attacks without rebuilding the resource from the beginning.

In other words, exhaustion should not necessarily mark the end of your rotation. For Draught, it can instead become an opportunity to extend your burst cycle.

Final Tips for Bamboo Cut – Draught

Draught may seem complicated at first because of its unique resource mechanic, but the basic principle becomes much easier to follow once you understand one rule:

Build to 200 as quickly as possible, then use the entire burst window on your enhanced attacks.

Keep these points in mind:

· Don't depend on the basic drinking animation during active combat.

· Use Dual Blade Special to begin building your Drunkenness.

· Hold R after using your skills to make Fast Drink easier to trigger.

· Use Light Attack for the faster Drunken Fist Special follow-up.

· Treat Dual Blade Heavy Attack as a backup option for recovering your rotation.

· Whenever possible, save your strongest burst for boss exhaustion.

· Prioritize Boss Damage and Martial Art Damage before fine-tuning your secondary stats.

Once you get used to the 200-point cycle, Draught becomes much easier to manage. Master the timing of your Fast Drinks and enhanced attacks, and Bamboo Cut – Draught can become a powerful DPS option for boss encounters.
