What is the PUBG Mobile Ranking System?

The ranking system measures your performance and skill level in PUBG Mobile.

Players gain or lose Rank Points (RP) depending on their performance in each match.

Your rank determines the opponents you encounter and the rewards you can receive at the end of each season.

The ranking system encourages players to focus on survival, eliminations, and strategic gameplay.

The better you perform, the faster you can climb through the ranks.

PUBG Mobile Ranked Levels 2026: RP Requirements and Structure

The PUBG Mobile ranked tier system remains straightforward.

Here are the current RP requirements from recent seasons:

1.Bronze: 1500 RP (V to I sub-tiers)

2.Silver: 1800 RP

3.Gold: 2200 RP

4.Platinum: 2700 RP

5.Diamond: 3200 RP

6.Crown: 3700 RP

7.Ace: 4200 RP (promotion starts)

8.Ace Master: 4700 RP

9.Ace Dominator: 5200 RP

10.Conqueror: Top 500 server leaderboard

Higher ranks provide fewer RP gains for the same performance.

For example, a strong Top 10 finish may provide more than 30 RP in Gold, but only around 15–20 RP in Ace.

This makes strategic gameplay increasingly important at higher ranks.

How the RP System Works in Current PUBG Mobile Seasons

PUBG Mobile RP changes after every ranked match.

Placement has the biggest impact on RP changes, while kills and assists provide additional bonuses.

Survival time also affects your final score.

Early elimination becomes increasingly costly after reaching Platinum rank.

A quick defeat in higher-level lobbies can result in losing around 25–35 RP.

Winning matches provides positive RP gains, but the rewards become smaller as you climb higher.

PUBG Mobile Ranked Matchmaking

PUBG Mobile Ranked Matchmaking uses a hidden skill rating system.

Because of this, players rarely encounter complete beginners after reaching Gold rank and above.

A major change introduced in 2026 added promotion matches for Ace and higher ranks.

Players first need to reach the required RP amount before unlocking these challenges, which test their consistency and performance.

As of July 2026, Version 4.5 focuses mainly on collaborations and new content rather than major ranked system changes.

Promotion Matches Explained: The New Gate to Ace and Beyond

This system was introduced in recent updates and changed the way players push toward Conqueror.

Promotion matches become available once per tier each season on the server where the RP requirement is reached.

Players compete in TPP Squad mode on Erangel or Livik.

Your personal placement determines your progress, and teammate performance does not affect your streak.

Here are the requirements:

1.Ace Promotion: 3 matches in a row.Top 15 on Erangel or Top 8 on Livik

2.Ace Master Promotion: 4 matches in a row.Top 12 on Erangel or Top 6 on Livik

3.Ace Dominator Promotion: 5 matches in a row.Top 10 on Erangel or Top 5 on Livik

Players receive one protection chance per attempt.

Fail once and your progress is saved. Fail again and the streak resets.

Many players wait for the right timing before starting these promotion runs.

Bronze to Silver Roadmap: Focus on Survival First

Lower ranks in PUBG Mobile provide more room for learning.

Bronze and Silver still include bots and returning players.

Tips:

Start with safer landing locations instead of constantly choosing hot drops.

Choose areas with decent loot and rotate toward the first circle early.

Focus on improving basic gun control and learning the maps.

Understand common rotations on Erangel or Livik and practice using vehicles effectively.

During the early stages, prioritize Top 10 finishes over chasing kills.

Consistent survival helps build RP and reduces unnecessary losses.

Gold to Platinum Rank Push: Add Aggression and Utility

PUBG Mobile Gold rank is the first major skill checkpoint.

Players begin to understand basic positioning, while Platinum rank rewards smarter utility usage and better timing.

Tips:

Take fights that provide map control instead of simply searching for kills.

Learn when to engage enemies and when to disengage.

Over-aggressive gameplay can quickly reduce RP, but overly passive strategies also fail because zone pressure and third-party attacks become more dangerous.

Focus on mastering one or two maps instead of spreading your practice across too many locations.

Watch your death replays to identify mistakes in rotations and decision-making.

Aim for consistent gains of around +20 to +40 RP per strong match.

Small but steady improvements will help you climb much faster.

PUBG Mobile Diamond and Crown ranks are where good players begin to separate themselves from stronger competitors.

At these levels, lobbies become much more punishing, and small mistakes can result in losing 30+ RP.

Tips:

Prioritize reaching strong positions early in the zone.

Good circle prediction and positioning often matter more than pure aiming ability.

Use vehicles effectively and always carry enough utility items.

For squad matches, assign simple roles within your team.

Random teammates become less reliable at this stage, making coordination increasingly important.

Stay calm during intense situations.

Playing while frustrated often leads to more losses.

Take breaks when needed.

Crown-level players usually have strong game sense and can predict enemy movements effectively.

Ace Tiers and Promotion Challenges: The Real Test

Reaching Ace rank is a major achievement.

However, promotion matches determine whether you are truly ready to advance further.

At this point, simply grinding RP is no longer enough.

Tips:

For PUBG Mobile Ace matches, proper preparation is essential.

Warm up your aim and play a few normal matches before attempting promotion.

Then start promotion matches with a reliable squad.

Choose Erangel for most attempts, as its circles provide more opportunities for strategic positioning.

Livik is better suited for faster and more aggressive gameplay.

Focus on survival and meeting placement requirements.

Kills can improve confidence, but placement is the key factor that determines success.

After reaching Ace Dominator, climbing toward Conqueror becomes possible through leaderboard rankings.

How to Reach Conqueror Rank in PUBG Mobile

Conqueror does not have a fixed RP requirement.

Instead, players need to maintain a position within the top 500 players on their server leaderboard during the daily reset.

This requires consistent high-level performance.

Tips:

Begin your push early in the season.

The first players to reach Ace often secure Conqueror positions before RP requirements increase.

Later in the season, much higher RP is usually needed to remain within the top 500.

Prioritize placement first, then focus on adding kills.

In Ace-level lobbies, survival helps protect your ranking, while smart aggression helps you climb higher.

Play during active hours for better matchmaking.

Top players constantly adapt to meta changes and map updates.

For dedicated players, reaching Conqueror usually takes several weeks of focused gameplay.

Some skilled players can achieve it within one strong week at the beginning of the season.

Treat every match seriously.

What Is the Ultimate Royale Ranking?

Ultimate Royale Ranking is a long-term leaderboard designed to recognize the most consistent competitive players in PUBG Mobile.

Unlike the standard ranked system, which resets every season, Ultimate Royale tracks player performance across multiple seasons.

Players who consistently achieve high ranks and maintain strong results can earn a place on this exclusive leaderboard.

Players appearing in the Ultimate Royale Ranking receive special recognition, including exclusive titles, profile badges, unique cosmetics, and placement on the global leaderboard.

It is considered one of the most prestigious achievements in PUBG Mobile.

How to Reach Ultimate Royale Ranking

Reaching the Ultimate Royale Ranking requires more than reaching Conqueror once.

Consistency is the most important factor.

Players need to survive longer, secure eliminations, perform well across multiple seasons, and avoid major RP losses.

Playing with a coordinated squad, mastering preferred maps, and making smart rotations are much more important than simply chasing high-kill games every match.

How the Ranking System Resets

At the beginning of each new season, player ranks are partially reset to maintain balanced matchmaking.

Most players start one or two tiers below their previous season ending rank.

For example:

1.Players finishing at Crown III usually begin around Platinum I or II

2.Players finishing at Ace usually begin around Diamond I or II

Although seasonal ranks reset, the Ultimate Royale Ranking focuses on long-term consistency rather than the results of a single season.

Common Mistakes That Slow Down Your PUBG Mobile Rank Push

1.Hot dropping every match in higher tiers can quickly drain RP. Skilled opponents appear immediately, causing larger losses than gains.

2.Ignoring the zone or playing too passively can also hurt your progress. The circle eventually punishes players who stay in one place for too long.

3.Queueing while tired or frustrated often leads to unnecessary mistakes. Ranked matches heavily punish emotional gameplay.

4.Skipping warm-ups or playing with high ping can negatively affect aiming and decision-making. Small problems accumulate over time.

5.Forcing kills instead of focusing on smart placement during promotion matches can quickly reset your progress.

Final Thoughts on Your PUBG Mobile Ranked Mode Guide

The journey from Bronze to Conqueror in PUBG Mobile ranked mode rewards patience, strategy, and smart decision-making above everything else.

Consistent top finishes and strong choices will help you climb faster than relying only on aggressive gameplay.

Keep improving with every match.

Learn from losses instead of blaming luck or teammates.

Players who reach the top 500 treat ranked mode as a skill that can be improved, rather than simply a grind.
