To preview everything coming with Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1, the anniversary update, an official livestream was hosted across ZZZ's various official channels and platforms, revealing a wide range of new content. However, with the livestream being quite lengthy, many players may not have the time to watch the entire broadcast. Version 3.1 Banners

This is the part many players have been waiting for. To start, Remielle's banner will remain available throughout the entire duration of Version 3.1. During the first half, Aria will receive a rerun. In the second half, we'll get Sigrid's banner alongside the long-awaited Exclusive Rescreening banner, where your first S-Rank Agent and W-Engine are guaranteed to be the ones you select. This banner features Dialyn, Yuzuha, and Harumasa.

New Playable Agents

With Version 3.1, two new Agents will join the roster: Remielle and Sigrid.

Remielle

Remielle is an S-Rank Lumiflux Anomaly Agent and one of the first seven individuals to receive the title of Void Hunter. Lumiflux is a special Attribute that adopts the Attribute of the next Agent in the party lineup, allowing Remielle to take advantage of an enemy's Attribute weakness as long as she is paired with an Agent matching that Attribute.

Unlike traditional Anomaly Agents, Remielle does not gradually fill the Anomaly gauge simply by dealing Lumiflux DMG. Instead, some of her attacks apply Lumiflux Buildup stacks to enemies. When an enemy with Lumiflux Buildup enters an Anomaly state, Refringe is triggered, dealing heavy DMG.

Sigrid

Sigrid is an S-Rank Ice Attack Agent and the Deputy Administrative Director of the Airspace Patrol Department. Her gameplay focuses on alternating between specific attacks to gain uses of her enhanced Basic Attack, allowing her to deal high burst DMG. She can also use her shield to parry enemy attacks through her first and second Basic Attacks, negating DMG and refreshing her enhanced Basic Attack.

New Phaethon's Story Chapter

In Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1, players will learn more about Remielle's past and explore Sigrid's story, while also meeting new characters including Claret, Lindverne Sunbringer, and Truvia. The update will also offer glimpses into the first-generation Void Hunters through Remielle's memories, significantly expanding the game's lore for players who may not have watched the earlier lore teaser.

The new story also introduces additional areas to explore alongside a new exploration method. Instead of only controlling drones, players will also be able to control Bangboo mechs, which can transform into rolling balls for faster transportation and puzzle-solving.

In Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1, we're getting many new events:

· Filmgoer Thank-You Gift: a spending event where you'll be able to claim valuable rewards by topping up.

· Marcel Anniversary Gifts: the Second Anniversary event, where you'll receive 1600 Polychromes, cosmetics, and most importantly, one of several selected limited Agents for free: Lucia, Jane, Hugo, Soldier 0 - Anby, and Trigger, along with one of the corresponding Agents' Signature W-Engines.

· Phaethon's Grand Reveal of the Year: a recap event that reveals your account statistics, accompanied by reactions from familiar characters and a decent reward.

· Summer Waves Roll In: a summer event where you'll manage Fantasy Resort alongside new friends, with valuable rewards including a free skin for Lucy.

· Snap! Focus Showdown!: a combat event where you can take photos of your Agents while they are fighting.

· Dangerous Fugitive's Leisurely Vacation: a casual event where you'll take photos with Remielle throughout Roscaelifer.

· Ding-Dong! Delivery Training in Progress: an event similar to the familiar daily errands, where you can claim rewards each day by spending Battery charges.

New Deadly Assault Mode

Deadly Assault, the endgame mode designed as a final challenge for experienced players, is receiving a more difficult version called Adversity Mode. It can only be unlocked after obtaining all 9 stars in the normal mode. Casual players don't need to worry, as this new mode is completely optional and does not affect your pull count if you choose not to participate.

In the new Adversity Mode, there will only be one boss. However, the difficulty will be significantly higher, with the boss becoming much tankier, gaining new attacks, and potentially introducing different mechanics.

New Potential Unlocks (Character Buffs)

In Version 3.1, the following Agents will receive a new Potential Unlock upgrade: Jane, Nekomata, and Rina. These upgrades give both new and veteran players another way to make use of older characters in combat. Players will also be able to test these upgraded Agents through the new Potential Hypothesis: Hunting Game event.

New Custom Banner Loss Pool

Starting with Version 3.1, players will be able to replace 3 standard Agents with 3 limited Agents—Yanagi, Zhu Yuan, and Caesar—in the 50/50 loss pool. This means that if you fail to obtain the Rate-Up Agent, you'll still have a chance to receive older limited Agents that you may not own yet. The same system also applies to W-Engine banners, allowing you to select the Signature W-Engine of one of the 3 limited Agents as part of the loss pool.
