How NTE Banners Work (Quick Primer)

NTE's gacha system is called Scarborough Fair. Instead of simply tapping a summon button, players roll dice and move across a board, collecting rewards from the tiles they land on. There are three main board types:

One of the most player-friendly features is that pity carries over between limited banners. Progress made on one limited board carries over to the next, so your previous pulls won't go to waste.

NTE 1.3 Banner

Phase 1 – Zankou

Zankou is a new limited S-Class character debuting in the first half of Neverness to Everness Version 1.3. Players who have progressed through the main story may already recognize her as a major antagonist from Chapter 4 and a member of The Scarlet Letter. With Version 1.3, she moves from an important story character to a playable unit.

In combat, Zankou functions as an on-field Incantation Main DPS, using fast blade attacks and supernatural abilities to maintain pressure on enemies. Her playable kit retains the phantom-like visuals and aggressive swordplay associated with her story appearances, making her a natural fit for Incantation-focused teams. She also has a unique open-world ability that allows her to turn invisible and avoid enemy detection.

Phase 2 – Linko

Linko is the second new limited S-Class character introduced in Neverness to Everness Version 1.3. She is a member of Elite Task Division 6 (ETD-6) within the Bureau of Anomaly Control and works alongside her Anomaly partner, Xiaozhen, who normally resides inside the television-like device Linko carries on her back.

As an Anima AoE Quickswap character, Linko specializes in working with Xiaozhen to deal damage across multiple targets while fitting naturally into fast character rotations. Instead of relying entirely on extended field time, her combat style focuses on skill usage, character switching, and coordinated attacks with her Anomaly partner.

Version 1.4 Banner Leaks

Phase 1 – Blackbird

Blackbird is the mysterious steward of the Witch's House, a supernatural figure closely associated with fortune-telling, Lost Tales, and the occult side of Hethereau. Her calm personality and witch-inspired design make her one of the most distinctive unreleased characters in NTE.

Phase 2 – Akane Rin

Akane Rin is a musician closely connected to Hethereau's live-music scene. A vocalist and guitarist with ties to a former band, she now works behind the counter at the StarSign bar. Her story combines music, personal history, and the supernatural elements of the city.

Version 1.5 Banner Leaks

Phase 1 – Nitsa

Nitsa is a reserve member of ETD-6 who has already appeared alongside other members of the division. Her distinctive blue spectral hair appears to be closely connected to her Esper abilities, giving her a unique supernatural combat style.

Phase 2 – Elyms or Exe

Elyms is the lieutenant of ETD-6 and one of the unit's senior members. Recognized for her colorful ice-cream-inspired appearance, she has recently received a major visual redesign, suggesting that her role could become more significant in future story chapters.

Exe is the captain of ETD-6, an elite unit within the Bureau of Anomaly Control. Known for his cold and uncompromising approach to anomaly hunting, he wields a massive transforming mechanical weapon capable of forming a jagged arm-blade.

Banner History

NTE launched on April 29, 2026, and is still relatively early in its release cycle, so its banner history remains short for now. We'll continue adding previous banners here as each version concludes.

Conclusion
