Rise of Kingdoms VIP Guide: How to Get VIP Points and Which VIP Levels Matter

The VIP system is one of the most valuable long-term progression features in Rise of Kingdoms. Unlike upgrades that mainly increase your visible Power, VIP levels provide permanent account bonuses that can continue benefiting your city and commanders throughout your journey.

Because of this, VIP Points are important for both free-to-play and spending players. However, efficient VIP progression is not simply about accumulating Points as quickly as possible. Understanding the different ways to earn VIP Points, identifying the most valuable milestones, and knowing when to use Gems can make a significant difference to your overall progression.

This Rise of Kingdoms VIP Guide explains how the VIP system works, how to obtain VIP Points, and how to approach VIP progression more efficiently.

How Does the VIP System Work in Rise of Kingdoms?

VIP is a permanent account progression system in Rise of Kingdoms. As you collect VIP Points, your VIP level increases and unlocks additional bonuses and rewards.

Higher VIP levels provide stronger benefits that can support different aspects of account development. Depending on the milestone you reach, these bonuses can improve your daily progression, resource management, commander development, and other long-term activities.

The biggest advantage of VIP is that its value comes primarily from benefits that continue working over time, rather than from a single immediate Power increase.

For example, training troops or completing an upgrade can directly increase your visible Power. VIP progression is different: once you unlock a useful VIP benefit, you can continue taking advantage of it throughout your future gameplay.

This makes VIP especially important for players who are building an account with a long-term plan rather than focusing only on short-term Power increases.

How to Get VIP Points in Rise of Kingdoms

Players can obtain VIP Points through several different methods. Some are part of normal gameplay and require consistent activity, while others allow you to accelerate your progression.

Daily VIP Collection

Collecting your available daily VIP rewards is one of the most reliable ways to build VIP Points over time.

The amount may not seem significant compared with instantly purchasing Points, but consistent daily collection adds up over weeks and months.

For F2P players, this is particularly important because regular accumulation allows you to make steady progress without relying heavily on paid resources.

Alliance Shop and Alliance Gifts

An active Alliance can also contribute to your overall VIP progression.

The Alliance Shop may provide useful VIP-related items, while Alliance Gifts can offer additional rewards as your Alliance remains active and members complete different activities.

Joining an Alliance therefore provides benefits beyond teamwork and battlefield coordination. A strong and active Alliance can also help support your long-term resource and account development.

If you want to progress efficiently, Alliance participation should be considered part of your broader progression strategy.

Spending Gems

Another way to accelerate VIP progression is by using Gems to obtain VIP Points.

This provides a direct route toward important VIP milestones, but Gems are also one of the most valuable general-purpose currencies in Rise of Kingdoms. Spending them on VIP should therefore be balanced against your other account priorities.

Rather than using Gems automatically whenever you have enough, establish a specific VIP target first.

For example, if you are relatively close to a valuable VIP milestone, spending Gems to reach it can provide benefits that continue paying off over the long term. On the other hand, if an important event or another major account objective is approaching, saving those Gems may offer better overall value.

In-Game Purchases

Certain in-game purchases can also provide VIP Points, giving spending players another way to speed up their progression.

However, purchasing VIP Points simply to reach the next level is not always the most efficient approach. It is better to consider the actual milestone you are trying to reach and determine whether the benefits justify the additional spending.

Having a clear target makes VIP investment much easier to manage. Instead of spending without a plan, you can decide how much progress you actually want to accelerate and stop once you reach the milestone that matters to your account.

Which VIP Levels Are Worth Prioritizing?

Not every VIP level offers the same level of value for your account.

Instead of trying to push through every level as quickly as possible, it is more efficient to identify the milestones that provide meaningful long-term benefits and build your progression around them.

Early VIP Progression

For a developing account, VIP should be treated as one part of your overall progression rather than the sole investment target.

You still need to allocate resources toward city upgrades, research, commanders, troops, and other core systems. Because of this, aggressively rushing every early VIP level may not always be the most efficient approach.

At this stage, focus on building a consistent supply of VIP Points through daily collection, Alliance participation, and other regular sources.

Reaching certain early VIP milestones can provide useful benefits for account development, so consider them alongside your other immediate progression needs rather than prioritizing VIP at the expense of everything else.

VIP 10 as a Major Progression Target

VIP 10 is widely considered an important milestone for players planning their accounts around long-term progression.

Getting to this level marks a significant point in your VIP development and can offer considerably more value than simply advancing through the lower levels without a clear objective.

For most players, it makes more sense to view VIP 10 as a medium-term goal. Instead of spending Gems whenever you have enough to make progress, save toward the milestone and decide in advance how much you are willing to invest.

A milestone-focused approach makes VIP spending easier to manage and reduces unnecessary Gem consumption.

VIP 14 as a Long-Term Goal

For players who are heavily invested in commander development, VIP 14 becomes another major milestone to consider.

Developing Legendary Commanders takes substantial time and resources, so VIP benefits that continue supporting commander progression can become increasingly valuable as your account matures.

That does not mean every player needs to rush toward VIP 14 immediately. Newer or lower-spending accounts may have more pressing priorities first.

However, knowing the long-term benefits associated with VIP 14 allows you to plan your Gems and VIP Points more effectively.

If you intend to play Rise of Kingdoms for a long time, VIP milestones should be planned alongside commander investment, technology development, equipment, and your broader account strategy.

Progressing Beyond Major Milestones

Higher VIP levels can still provide useful benefits, but whether they are worth pursuing immediately depends on the current needs of your account.

Once you reach an important milestone, take a moment to reassess your resource priorities.

Ask yourself:

· Would another VIP level provide meaningful benefits for my account right now?

· Could my Gems generate more value somewhere else?

· Is commander development currently my main priority?

· Are there upcoming events that would make saving Gems more valuable?

Rather than treating VIP progression as an independent goal, consider it as one component of your complete account development strategy.

VIP vs. Other Ways to Spend Gems

Managing Gems efficiently is one of the most important parts of long-term Rise of Kingdoms progression.

There are many ways to use them, including commander events, limited-time offers, materials, speedups, and VIP Points.

Some of these options provide an immediate reward, which can make them seem more appealing than VIP progression. VIP investment, however, is often designed to generate value over a much longer period through recurring benefits.

This creates an important difference between short-term gains and long-term account value.

A limited-time purchase might immediately provide useful items, while reaching a major VIP milestone can continue benefiting your account throughout future weeks and months.

That does not mean you should put every Gem into VIP Points. Instead, avoid spending simply because an attractive reward is currently available.

Before using a large amount of Gems, consider:

· Will this investment continue to benefit my account as I progress?

· Does it help me reach an important long-term milestone?

· Does the reward directly support my current strategy?

· Would saving these Gems give me better opportunities during a future event?

Having a clear Gem budget can prevent your resources from being divided between too many short-term goals.

Should You Use Gems for VIP Points?

Whether spending Gems on VIP Points is worthwhile depends largely on your current account progress and what you are trying to achieve.

VIP progression can deliver lasting value because reaching certain milestones unlocks benefits that continue helping your account over time. If you are already close to an important VIP milestone, using Gems to bridge the remaining gap can be a reasonable investment.

However, VIP Points are only one of the many ways to use Gems.

Your account may also need resources for commanders, events, speedups, equipment, or other progression systems. The timing of your spending is therefore just as important as the amount you spend. Events such as More Than Gems can also influence when it makes sense to use a large amount of Gems.

Instead of asking:

"What can I buy with my Gems right now?"

Consider how the purchase fits into your overall account plan.

If spending Gems on VIP Points puts you within reach of a valuable milestone, the long-term benefits may justify the investment. On the other hand, if you are still a long way from the next meaningful VIP level, saving your Gems for a better opportunity may be the smarter choice.

The key is to make VIP progression part of your overall Gem strategy rather than automatically treating it as the highest priority.

Best VIP Strategy for F2P Players

For F2P players, VIP progression should generally be approached as a gradual, long-term project.

Key priorities include:

· Collect available VIP rewards consistently.

· Stay active in a useful Alliance.

· Make the most of Alliance-related rewards and activities.

· Avoid unnecessary or emotional Gem spending.

· Establish realistic VIP milestones.

· Keep VIP progression balanced with other account requirements.

Free-to-play players do not need to match the VIP progression speed of players who spend regularly.

Consistent accumulation can produce substantial progress over time. Since many VIP benefits continue generating value after you reach a milestone, patience is often more important than speed.

A steady approach also allows F2P players to preserve Gems for events and other opportunities that may have a greater impact on their overall development.

Best VIP Strategy for Low Spenders

Low spenders have additional options for accelerating VIP progression, but resource planning remains important.

Rather than buying VIP progress whenever possible, combine your normal VIP Point income with targeted Gem spending and carefully selected purchases.

Having a specific milestone in mind makes it easier to determine when accelerating your progress is worthwhile.

For example, if you are already close to a major VIP level, spending additional Gems to complete the remaining requirement may provide more value than spreading those Gems across several unrelated purchases.

If the next milestone is still far away, however, continuing to collect VIP Points naturally while investing in commanders, technology, events, or other account priorities may be more efficient.

The objective is not simply to increase your VIP level as quickly as possible. Instead, use your available resources to strengthen the account as a whole.

Best VIP Strategy for Long-Term Players

Players who intend to remain active in Rise of Kingdoms for months or years should view VIP as a permanent component of their account progression.

Instead of constantly focusing on the next available level, identify the major milestones that matter to your account and plan your resources around them.

This creates a more structured approach to Gem management.

VIP progression competes with commander development, technology, equipment, events, and other resource-intensive systems. Having clearly defined long-term goals makes it easier to determine when VIP deserves priority and when another investment should come first.

The most useful question is therefore not:

"How fast can I reach the next VIP level?"

A better question is:

"Which investment will provide the greatest long-term benefit to my account?"

This mindset can help you manage VIP Points and Gems more efficiently while avoiding unnecessary spending.

Rise of Kingdoms VIP Tips

Keep the following points in mind when planning your VIP progression:

· Treat VIP as a long-term investment. Its benefits are mainly built around recurring account advantages rather than an immediate increase in Power.

· Build VIP Points steadily. Consistent collection may seem slow at first, but regular progress becomes increasingly valuable over the long term.

· Stay active in an Alliance. A strong Alliance can provide additional rewards through Alliance Gifts, the Alliance Shop, and other activities.

· Spend Gems with a purpose. VIP Points can be valuable, but Gems are also needed for events, commanders, speedups, and other account priorities.

· Set specific VIP milestones. Having a target such as VIP 10 or VIP 14 makes it easier to decide when accelerating your progress is worthwhile.

· Keep VIP progression balanced. Do not sacrifice important commander, technology, equipment, or event investments simply to increase your VIP level.

· Pay attention to timing. Before making a large Gem investment, consider upcoming events and whether saving your resources could provide better value later.

Conclusion

The Rise of Kingdoms VIP system plays an important role in long-term account development. Rather than trying to increase VIP as quickly as possible, players should focus on consistent VIP Point accumulation, identify the milestones that matter most, and carefully consider how VIP spending fits into their overall resource strategy.

Whether your current goal is VIP 10, you are working toward VIP 14, or you are simply accumulating VIP Points gradually, a planned approach will usually be more effective than spending without a clear objective.

By combining regular VIP Point collection with smart Gem management and other account priorities, you can turn VIP progression into a reliable source of long-term value throughout your Rise of Kingdoms journey.
