Honor of Kings Tier List 2026

Different tier lists may not always agree, and there is no single ranking that works perfectly for every player. Hero performance can depend on your skill level, the role you play, your team composition, and how well your teammates coordinate.

For example, different August rankings may place heroes differently depending on the data, role, rank range, or criteria being used. A hero with an excellent win rate may not necessarily be the easiest choice for every player.

If your goal is to climb faster, S-Tier heroes are a good place to start. However, learning a hero thoroughly is usually more valuable than constantly switching between characters simply because one currently has a higher win rate. Understanding your hero's abilities, matchups, positioning, and role within the team can have a greater impact on your results than following every short-term meta change.

Best Heroes to Rank Up Fast

Augran – Best Overall Jungle Pick

Augran is one of the safest choices for players looking to carry ranked games from the Jungle. He offers high damage, strong map presence, and remains effective throughout different stages of a match.

· The latest tier list places Augran among the top Jungle picks, while he also performs well as a Clash Lane option.

· His biggest advantage for ranked climbing is his ability to influence multiple areas of the map. A strong jungler can secure objectives, pressure lanes, invade the enemy Jungle, and turn small advantages into larger leads.

· If you want to focus on a single Hero for solo ranked climbing, Augran is one of the strongest options available in the current meta.

Loong – Best Farm Lane Carry

Loong is a strong choice for players who prefer the Farm Lane and want a Hero that can scale into a powerful late-game damage dealer.

· The August tier list places Loong in S Tier for Farm Lane alongside Consort Yu, Flowborn, and Lady Sun.

· Loong is particularly effective for players who are comfortable farming during the early game and maintaining good positioning during teamfights. A well-farmed Farm Lane carry can become one of the team's biggest win conditions later in the match.

· The downside is that Farm Lane requires careful positioning. Even a highly skilled marksman can be eliminated quickly during a teamfight, especially if an Assassin finds an opportunity to reach them unnoticed.

Shi – Strong Mid Lane Choice

Shi is currently one of the stronger Mid Lane choices in the meta. According to the latest role-based tier list, Shi is ranked in S Tier alongside heroes such as Yango, Haya, Da Qiao, Yixing, Lady Zhen, Mai Shiranui, and Gan & Mo.

· Mid Lane is a strong position for climbing because it gives you opportunities to influence both side lanes and assist with objectives. However, simply staying in lane and farming is rarely enough. You need to recognize when to rotate and create numbers advantages for your team.

· If you enjoy dealing ranged magic damage while having a meaningful impact during teamfights, Shi is a Hero worth spending time learning.

Da Qiao – Best Macro-Oriented Roamer

Da Qiao is a strong option for players who prefer controlling the pace of a match through positioning and map movement rather than constantly looking for kills.

· Da Qiao consistently ranks highly among Roamers, with mobility and team utility being two of her biggest strengths.

· When teammates understand how to respond to her abilities, Da Qiao can create excellent opportunities across the map. Her ability to help teammates move between different areas makes it harder for opponents to predict where your next play will come from.

· She requires more team awareness than a standard Tank, which can make her less consistent in some solo queue situations. However, players who understand her macro potential can use her abilities to control the flow of the match.

Devara – Best Clash Lane Pick

Devara has established herself as one of the stronger Clash Lane choices in the current meta. Season 15 statistics place her in S Tier, making her a strong option for players looking for a Hero capable of creating pressure through the lane while maintaining strong carry potential.

· Her biggest strength is her ability to pressure opponents during the laning phase without becoming irrelevant afterward. If you can choose your fights carefully and avoid taking unnecessary damage, Devara can create enough pressure to force enemies to play defensively and give your team greater control of the map.

Dyadia – Best Support for Team Fights

Dyadia is a strong scaling option for players who prefer supporting their team and gradually increasing their impact rather than constantly forcing aggressive plays.

· The August tier list places Dyadia in S Tier for Roaming. Her kit provides allies with healing and movement speed while also giving her access to damage-over-time effects.

· She works particularly well in team compositions that already have enough damage but need additional sustain and coordination. Keeping your main damage dealers alive through important teamfights can often be more valuable than trying to secure eliminations yourself.

How to Rank Up Faster in Honor of Kings

If your goal is to climb quickly, playing a different Hero every match is usually not the best approach. Instead, build a small hero pool of around 2–3 Heroes for your main role and learn them thoroughly, including their matchups, builds, rotations, and power spikes. This also makes the drafting phase easier, since you can adapt to bans and unfavorable matchups while still having a practiced backup pick instead of learning a new Hero during a ranked game.

Recent ranked guides also recommend keeping your hero pool relatively focused.

You should also prioritize objectives throughout the match. Eliminating enemy Heroes can create advantages, but kills should not come at the expense of securing towers, major objectives, clearing the Jungle, or controlling important areas of the map.

Most importantly, avoid completely rebuilding your hero pool every time a new tier list is released. Honor of Kings is a live-service MOBA that regularly receives balance patches, so hero rankings will naturally change over time. A Hero that moves down a tier is not automatically a bad pick, especially if you already understand that Hero's mechanics and matchups.

Honor of Kings Tier List FAQ

Who is the best hero in Honor of Kings right now?

There is no single Hero that is the best in every situation. Augran, Loong, Da Qiao, Dyadia, and several other high-performing Heroes stand out depending on their role and playstyle. Different tier lists may also rank them differently, which is normal for a live-service MOBA.

Which role is best for ranking up fast?

Jungle or Mid Lane: If you want greater control over the map, these two roles are strong choices. Both can have a major impact on objectives while rotating to support side lanes throughout the match.

How many heroes should I main?

Start with around two or three Heroes in your main role. This gives you enough flexibility to deal with bans, picks, and unfavorable matchups without spreading your practice across too many Heroes.

Should I always pick an S-Tier hero?

Not necessarily. Tier lists are useful references, but your own proficiency matters just as much. An S-Tier Hero you barely know can be less effective than an A-Tier Hero you have practiced extensively and understand completely.

Conclusion

Climbing the Honor of Kings ranked ladder comes down to making strong Hero choices and consistently making good decisions throughout your matches. Based on the current 2026 meta, Augran, Loong, Shi, Da Qiao, and Dyadia are strong Heroes to start learning. Other options such as Lam, Consort Yu, Lady Sun, Kongming, Yaria, and Mozi can also be effective depending on your role and playstyle.

Do not treat a tier list as a permanent ranking. Balance updates, player skill, team compositions, and matchups can all affect a Hero's effectiveness. Instead, build a focused pool of strong Heroes, learn their mechanics and rotations, and prioritize objectives and map control over chasing unnecessary kills.
