Honkai: Star Rail 2026 Anniversary Guide & 2027 Predictions

The Honkai: Star Rail anniversary has become one of the biggest events of the year for Trailblazers. Each celebration has featured free pulls, Stellar Jade, boosted farming events, special activities, and increasingly valuable rewards for players. With the third anniversary now concluded, there is also enough history to make a reasonable early prediction about what the fourth anniversary could bring in 2027.

Honkai: Star Rail 3rd Anniversary Release Date

Honkai: Star Rail launched on April 26, 2023, making April 26 the game's official anniversary date. Although the anniversary update may arrive several days or even a few weeks before the exact date, the main celebration has consistently centered around late April.

The most recent celebration was the Honkai: Star Rail third anniversary on April 26, 2026, which took place during Version 4.2. It continued several traditions established by previous anniversaries while expanding the reward package with another free 5-star exchange opportunity and additional anniversary activities.

Honkai: Star Rail 3rd Anniversary Rewards in 2026

Version 4.2 delivered one of the game's most generous anniversary reward packages to date. Many of the easiest rewards could be obtained simply by logging in.

Through Festive Gifts, players could check in for seven days and receive a total of 20 Star Rail Special Passes. On April 26, the To The Ones That Blaze anniversary gift also granted 1,600 Stellar Jade and 10 Fuel. Since 1,600 Stellar Jade is equivalent to ten Warps, these two rewards alone amounted to 30 limited-banner pulls.

Another major reward was Golden Companion Spirit ×1, provided through Stellar Companions. This item could be exchanged for a 5-star character from the Stellar Convergence shop. For the third anniversary, the exchange lineup included Robin, Huohuo, Topaz & Numby, Ruan Mei, Luocha, as well as the standard 5-star characters available through the shop.

The anniversary rewards extended beyond the basic login bonuses. Across the Version 4.2 anniversary content, the reward summary included 20 Star Rail Special Passes, 3,670 Stellar Jade, Golden Companion Spirit ×1, and additional rewards. The 3,670 Stellar Jade figure included Jade earned from various anniversary events rather than representing another single login gift.

Players could also obtain additional resources through anniversary web activities and the annual Trailblaze report. The 2026 celebration introduced Relic Recon, allowing players to obtain up to six 5-star +15 Relics with four initial substats. Special boosted-drop activities also made the anniversary period particularly valuable for account progression.

Version 4.2 also reset the First-Time Top-Up Double Bonus for Oneiric Shard bundles. While this was not a free reward, it was still relevant for players planning to purchase currency during the anniversary period.

How the Anniversary Rewards Have Improved Each Year

Looking back at previous celebrations makes the evolution of the anniversary reward structure much easier to see.

First Anniversary – 2024

The first anniversary took place on April 26, 2024, during Version 2.1. Its main rewards established a formula that remains familiar today: 20 Star Rail Special Passes and 1,600 Stellar Jade.

Version 2.1 also expanded the usual farming bonuses. Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange offered 300% rewards, giving players triple drops for selected Planar Ornament and Cavern of Corrosion farming attempts. Events such as Cosmodyssey also helped make the first anniversary feel like more than a standard login campaign.

Second Anniversary – 2025

The second anniversary on April 26, 2025 retained the 20-pass login reward and 1,600 Stellar Jade gift while also adding 10 Fuel.

The biggest upgrade was the introduction of a free Golden Companion Spirit. Players could exchange it for a 5-star character, with Ruan Mei and Luocha among the limited choices alongside standard characters. This significantly increased the practical value of the anniversary rewards because players were no longer receiving only pull currency—they could also directly select a 5-star character from the available exchange pool.

The second anniversary also featured 300% Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange periods, further establishing boosted farming as a recurring part of the annual celebration.

When Is the Next Honkai: Star Rail Anniversary?

The fourth Honkai: Star Rail anniversary will take place on April 26, 2027. HoYoverse has not yet revealed the exact version or anniversary event schedule, so any detailed reward list circulating this far ahead should be considered speculation rather than confirmed information.

The anniversary update itself may arrive before April 26. Based on previous celebrations, the main version update can launch first, followed by anniversary-day login rewards, special events, or other activities that become available around the actual anniversary date.

What Rewards Can We Expect for the 4th Anniversary in 2027?

While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the first three anniversary celebrations provide several useful patterns for making an early prediction.

The safest expectation is another 20 Star Rail Special Passes from a seven-day login event, along with 1,600 Stellar Jade around April 26. Both rewards have been part of all three previous anniversary celebrations, making them the most likely rewards to return in 2027.

Another Golden Companion Spirit is also a reasonable possibility. The system was introduced as a major reward during the second anniversary and returned during the third anniversary with a broader exchange lineup. If HoYoverse continues the system in 2027, additional older limited 5-star characters could potentially become available through Stellar Convergence.

Players can also reasonably expect to see familiar anniversary activities such as triple-drop farming events, the annual Trailblaze report, special web events, commemorative activities, and potentially another First-Time Top-Up Double Bonus reset. These features have become recurring parts of the anniversary period.

However, players should not assume a specific total amount of Stellar Jade. The 3,670 Stellar Jade associated with the third anniversary came from multiple Version 4.2 activities, rather than being a single anniversary login reward. The final fourth-anniversary total will therefore depend on the events and rewards included in the 2027 update.

How to Prepare for the Next HSR Anniversary

If you want to get the most value from the next celebration, avoid spending all of your resources immediately before the anniversary update. Keep track of your Stellar Jade, Special Passes, Fuel, Relic requirements, and banner pity, especially after the anniversary Special Program reveals the upcoming banners and events.

It can also be worth waiting before making a major Oneiric Shard purchase until HoYoverse confirms whether and when the First-Time Top-Up Double Bonus will reset. Previous anniversary updates refreshed the bonus, which can make the timing of a purchase more important.

Final Thoughts

The Honkai: Star Rail anniversary has evolved from a simple login celebration into one of the game's most important yearly events. Players can now look forward to free pulls, Stellar Jade, farming bonuses, account-progression materials, special activities, and selectable 5-star characters.

The third anniversary in 2026 provided 20 Star Rail Special Passes, 1,600 Stellar Jade, and 10 Fuel as its core login rewards, while the broader anniversary content offered even more resources and activities.

For the HSR fourth anniversary in 2027, April 26 is the key date to watch. Another 20-pass login reward and 1,600 Stellar Jade would be the most reasonable prediction based on the previous three celebrations. A new Golden Companion Spirit and an expanded 5-star exchange pool would also fit naturally with the reward system HoYoverse has established.
