Eryndor is not a hero who relies on a single ridiculously overloaded ability to dominate fights. His overall kit is relatively easy to understand. The real threat comes from the high numerical pressure he can build throughout a battle.
His first Ultimate is mainly used to establish an early advantage, while the second Ultimate is where his debuffs, stolen stats, and repeated punishments begin to stack up. Once Eryndor gains enough momentum, opponents can find it extremely difficult to turn the fight around.
How Eryndor’s Woe and Forced Game Work
Eryndor’s Ultimate, Forced Game, makes every non-summoned enemy roll a die individually.
A low roll means the enemy loses and receives Eryndor’s punishment, while a high enough roll lets them avoid the effect. However, Eryndor has several ways to make those odds considerably less favorable.
Whenever an allied hero applies an eligible stat reduction to an enemy, that target receives Woe. Each Woe stack reduces the target’s final die result, making Forced Game more consistent against enemies who have already been weakened.
This gives Eryndor a clear team-building preference: he works best alongside heroes who can repeatedly reduce enemy stats rather than relying entirely on teammates who only provide raw damage.
Another major strength of Forced Game is its global coverage. Eryndor can target enemies regardless of whether they are grouped together or spread across the battlefield. The enemy formation does not need to cooperate with him for everyone to take part in his little game.
As a result, Eryndor is much less dependent on battlefield positioning than many other AoE carries.
Why Eryndor’s Second Ultimate Matters
Eryndor’s first Ultimate is valuable for establishing momentum, but his real power spike comes from reaching the second one.
At Mythic+, All Is Lost enhances Forced Game by adding additional punishment whenever an enemy loses. As enemies repeatedly lose the game, the effect becomes increasingly powerful, eventually allowing Eryndor to remove enemy advantages instead of simply dealing another burst of damage.
This gives Eryndor a very distinct PvP flow:
First Ultimate → secure a kill or gain an advantage → build Energy and momentum → reach the second Ultimate → snowball the fight.
The second cast is where Eryndor can become particularly difficult to deal with.
After a non-Boss enemy loses Forced Game multiple times, Eryndor can remove their stat buffs while applying additional offensive penalties. Against teams that depend heavily on accumulated buffs, this can dramatically shift the outcome of the battle.
He is basically playing Monopoly while quietly taking money out of the bank.
Eryndor’s Other Skills
Eryndor’s secondary abilities are also important because they allow him to remain useful when his Ultimate is not immediately available.
Unfurling Blades launches several blades toward enemy heroes, prioritizing targets according to their HP and gaining additional value against enemies affected by Woe. Its damage is strong enough for Eryndor to continue contributing even while Forced Game is on cooldown.
Veiled Return attacks enemies within a concentrated area while providing Eryndor with a shield. The returning fan can grant him another shield depending on the damage dealt, helping him survive long enough to reach his next Ultimate.
This allows Eryndor to maintain meaningful damage output even against certain teams that can restrict Ultimate usage. He clearly performs best when he can use Forced Game freely, but losing access to his Ultimate does not automatically make him useless.
Best Ascension and Investment for Eryndor
Mythic+: Core Mechanic Unlocked
Mythic+ is the point where Eryndor truly starts to perform as the PvP carry he is meant to be.
All Is Lost introduces the repeated-loss mechanic to Forced Game, increasing his damage while giving him more ways to punish enemies who repeatedly fail their rolls.
For players serious about using Eryndor in PvP, Mythic+ is the minimum practical breakpoint.
Supreme+: Stronger From the Start
At Supreme+, Eryndor immediately steals a portion of the basic stats from every enemy hero when the battle begins.
This is especially valuable for a hero whose game plan revolves around creating and exploiting stat advantages. Rather than waiting for the battle to develop, Eryndor starts with an immediate advantage while weakening his opponents from the opening moment.
That makes Supreme+ considerably more impactful in PvP than its skill description might initially suggest.
Paragon Investment
Eryndor is not particularly forgiving when he is underinvested.
A large part of his strength comes from converting numerical advantages into even greater advantages. When his own stats fall significantly behind the Paragon level of his opponents, it becomes much harder for him to get his snowball going.
For competitive PvP, try not to leave Eryndor several Paragon levels behind the opponents you regularly face.
This is one of the biggest differences between Eryndor and lower-investment utility heroes. He benefits heavily from investment and is much happier when you are willing to put serious resources into him.
Eryndor Exclusive Equipment Priority
Eryndor gains considerable value from higher Exclusive Equipment investment because his later upgrades further strengthen the mechanic that allows him to take over fights: repeated Forced Game victories.
The key is not simply increasing the damage of his first Ultimate. His biggest gains come from improving what happens after enemies lose multiple rolls.
For most accounts:
Mythic+ → steadily build EX → prioritize competitive PvP investment
If Eryndor is going to serve as one of your primary Arena carries, leaving him at a very low EX level means giving up a noticeable portion of his potential.
Why Refine 2 Matters
For PvP-focused Eryndor builds, Refine 2 is an especially valuable breakpoint.
Its main benefit is improving his post-Ultimate Energy flow, allowing him to reach the crucial second Forced Game more quickly.
That second Ultimate is where Eryndor goes from simply being troublesome to becoming a serious threat—especially once he starts stripping away enemy stats.
Refine 4 is still worthwhile for players looking to push their competitive investment further, but Refine 2 is the more important practical breakpoint.
Best Magic Charm for Eryndor
Eryndor’s ideal Charm setup should support the same goal as the rest of his build: faster Ultimate cycles while maintaining enough offensive pressure.
Haste and Energy-related bonuses are naturally valuable because they help Eryndor reach Forced Game sooner. ATK and penetration improve his ability to secure an early kill, while defensive stats can be useful in teams where he does not have enough protection.
There is no need to make the build more complicated than it needs to be:
get the first Ultimate out, survive the enemy’s response, then reach the second one before they can recover.

Best Eryndor PvP Teams
Eryndor + Lily May + Thador + Ravion + Cyran
This is our most balanced Eryndor lineup, combining fast Ultimate access, consistent Woe generation, protection, and enough secondary damage to avoid relying entirely on a single dice roll. Place Eryndor directly behind Thador so that he becomes Thador’s lieutenant. At EX +10, Thador provides 350 starting Energy, while Eryndor’s first Ultimate activates Darkmoon to reduce the enemy team’s Phys & Magic DEF. Ravion adds another source of ATK and Phys DEF reduction through Mortal Ace, while also granting his two rearmost allies Energy, ATK, and eventually Haste. Cyran provides grouping, PvP disruption, and additional stat reduction, while Lily May can interrupt a dangerous enemy Ultimate and contribute reliable follow-up damage. With several sources of stat reduction working together, Eryndor can build Woe much more consistently.
Valorshield Spell is the safer option. Keep Eryndor in the rearmost position to give him a shield, Unaffected, and 60 Haste. Vanguard Spell is better suited to a more aggressive and sustain-focused approach, especially with the lineup’s strong physical damage output.
Eryndor + Lily May + Thador + Ravion + Alna
This lineup gives up some of Cyran’s control in exchange for significantly stronger protection. Thador should still position Eryndor as his lieutenant to provide the opening Energy boost, while Alna can make Eryndor her Winter Warrior by placing them in the same row. This grants Eryndor additional Max HP, immunity to Alna’s global Haste reduction, and—at EX +15—access to Alna’s periods of damage and control immunity.
The synergy is not limited to keeping Eryndor alive. Alna reduces enemy Haste, Thador reduces both defenses after Eryndor uses his first Ultimate, and Ravion lowers ATK and Phys DEF with Mortal Ace. This gives the team multiple independent ways to build Woe. Ravion can also help Lily May and Eryndor scale through permanent ATK/Haste buffs and Life Saver at EX +10. Overall, this is the more durable option when Eryndor needs additional time to reach his second Forced Game.
Eryndor Triple-Debuff Control Team
This team focuses more heavily on Magic damage, Energy cycling, and consistent Woe setup. Evie permanently reduces the Magic DEF of investigated enemies and, at EX +10, causes them to take increased Magic Damage. Alna provides another form of stat reduction through her Haste debuffs while protecting Eryndor as his Winter Warrior. Cyran adds further control and ATK SPD reduction, giving Eryndor multiple allies who can weaken enemy stats before Forced Game begins to take effect.
Rowan serves as the team’s Energy battery. His Ultimate restores a large amount of Energy to nearby allies, helping Eryndor transition from his first Ultimate into the much more threatening second cast.
Vanguard Spell provides additional teamwide damage and sustain based on the frontmost ally’s damage type. In this lineup, its healing effect is particularly useful for keeping the team stable while Eryndor and Evie gradually wear down the enemy’s stats.
Eryndor Stall & Attrition Team
This is the more aggressive attrition-oriented setup. Shadewing immediately applies Withering Curse to all enemies, reducing both Phys and Magic DEF by 20% while converting continuous damage into additional curse detonations. This global defense reduction is especially useful for Eryndor because it gives him an early way to generate Woe across the entire enemy team.
Igor brings disruption, anti-healing, and an extremely troublesome frontline presence through his tombstone hopping, while Athalia repeatedly dives the enemy with the highest cumulative damage and continues to pose a threat even after being defeated. Alna anchors the formation and should once again make Eryndor her Winter Warrior whenever positioning allows.
Magicsurge Spell works particularly well with this slower snowball strategy. Its waves at 10, 30, and 50 seconds progressively reduce enemy Vitality and eventually ATK while dealing increasingly powerful teamwide damage. These Artifact debuffs do not replace the Woe generated by Eryndor’s allies, but they make extended battles increasingly difficult for the opposing team—which is exactly the kind of fight Eryndor wants.
Conclusion
Eryndor is a PvP-first carry who can turn small advantages into increasingly one-sided battles. His first Forced Game starts the snowball, while the second is where his stolen stats, buff removal, and repeated punishment can truly take over the fight.
Pair him with Alna for greater stability or Thador for a faster start, keep his Paragon investment competitive, and aim for Refine 2 if Arena is your main priority.
For players primarily focused on bosses, Eryndor is an easy skip. But for PvP players who enjoy watching an enemy team lose both the dice roll and their hard-earned stats, Eryndor brings a much more interesting playstyle.
