Aeon Aha Overview

Rarity: 5-star | Element: Quantum | Path: Elation
Officially, the new character has been introduced as Aeon ★ Aha instead of simply Nihilux. She is a 5-star Quantum Elation unit, and her arrival marks another significant pickup for the Elation lineup, coming after figures such as Yao Guang, Sparxie, Silver Wolf LV.999, Aventurine • Waveflair, and Pearl.
The same official reveal also clears up her identity. Aha is the name for the countless masks and identities THEY have taken, leading into the declaration:
“Who is Aha? I am Aha!”
Aeon Aha Skill Priority
Skill Priority: Talent = Elation Skill first, then Skill = Ultimate, with Basic ATK last.
Your first priorities within Combat Skills should be Aeon ★ Aha’s Talent and Elation Skill. The Talent is the engine of her gameplay loop: it manages Wishpower generation, grants the whole team CRIT DMG bonuses, and ties into the enhanced Elation mechanics seen during Faces of Elation. Her Elation Skill, meanwhile, delivers a large chunk of her personal damage—AoE Quantum Elation DMG first, then bonus True DMG scaled to how much total damage was dealt inside that Aha Instant.
Next on the Combat Skills list is her Skill: it marks one ally with Emanator of Elation, raises that ally’s Elation by 20%, and triggers a Follow-up ATK. Wishpower also flows to Aha from the marked ally whenever their turns begin, which makes the Skill important both for team support and for Ultimate cycling.
The Ultimate still deserves levels for its AoE and bounce damage, though the real reason to use it is to activate Faces of Elation—so upgrading it alongside the Skill is usually fine. Basic ATK matters least and can wait until last. Current Beta databases also rank Talent and Elation Skill above Skill and Ultimate.
Suggested Priority Order:
Talent = Elation Skill > Skill = Ultimate > Basic ATKn — that's the order to follow for Aha Skill Priority.
Aeon Aha Kit
Basic ATK
Starfrost, Showtime!
Single Target
One enemy you designate takes 50% Quantum Elation DMG.
Skill
This Emanator Was Certified by Aha™
Support
A single ally you choose is granted the "Emanator of Elation" state, and a Follow-up ATK fires right away, hitting every enemy for 50% Quantum Elation DMG. That state sticks around for the whole battle, only ending when you switch to the next target. While an ally holds "Emanator of Elation," their Elation stat goes up by 20%, and once their turn starts, Aeon ★ Aha receives 1 point(s) of "Wishpower."
Ultimate
Aha! Let There Be Laughter
AoE
Aeon ★ Aha is given the "Faces of Elation" state, which lasts 3 turn(s) and loses 1 from its duration each time Aeon ★ Aha's turn begins. All enemies then take 200% Quantum Elation DMG, after which 5 instance(s) of DMG land, each one striking a random enemy for 60% Quantum Elation DMG.
Talent
Work Wonders with THEM
Enhance
The Ultimate unlocks the moment "Wishpower" reaches 8 points, and using a Basic ATK, Skill, or Elation Skill earns Aeon ★ Aha 1 point(s) of "Wishpower." The first time the team's Punchline hits 40 points, Aeon ★ Aha gains 1 points of "Wishpower" instantly, and every ally's CRIT DMG rises by 24% for 3 turn(s). Once Aha's turn ends, this becomes triggerable again.
Faces of Elation ★ Ex Nihilo
Enhance
Once Aeon ★ Aha enters the "Faces of Elation" state, every ally's Path of Elation is raised a tier, upgrading Punchline into Bliss and the "Certified Banger" state into the "Party Trick" state. At the close of the "Aha Instant" turn, Bliss returns 10% of the Punchline that was spent. Also, while "Faces of Elation" is active, 30% of the enemy target's DEF is ignored by the DMG Aeon ★ Aha deals.
The True Story of Aha
Enhance
Any DMG that Aeon ★ Aha or teammates deal also applies an "Elation Debt" effect to the enemy target worth 25% of that DMG. The "Elation Debt" value carries over when the enemy target goes through a phase transition, capped at no more than 10% of the target's Max HP.
Technique
ABRACADABRA!
Enhance
Using the Technique spawns a special zone around this unit that lasts 20 seconds. Any enemy caught inside the special zone receives "Misjudgment." While under "Misjudgment," enemies are unable to detect our targets. Aha then gains 1 extra turn the moment combat begins, adding a fixed 20 Punchline to the count.
Elation Skill
Yes Aha At Full Moon
AoE
All enemies take 60%Quantum Elation DMG. After that, True DMG equal to 20% of the total DMG dealt by this Aha Instant is dealt, split evenly among all enemies.
Bonus Ability
Bonus Ability 1 A Prank on Aeons
Against a target carrying the "Emanator of Elation" state, the Skill's Follow-Up ATK also recovers 1 Skill Point(s) and deals an extra 20% Elation DMG of the corresponding Type. This extra Elation DMG is not treated as 1 instance of attack.
Bonus Ability 2 A Carnival in Whimsy
Gain 1 point of "Wishpower" whenever a teammate's healing or Shield reaches you. This can trigger up to 1 time, and the trigger count is refreshed after an Ultimate is used.
Bonus Ability 3 A Box of Everything
Elation goes up by 120%/150% once Aeon ★ Aha's SPD reaches 125/150 or higher.
Exclusive Effect
Aha Instant
Support
Once you obtain Aeon ★ Aha — or while Aeon ★ Aha sits in your current team — this effect activates: during combat, Aeon ★ Aha herself takes the lead on "Aha Instant" and is able to fast-forward the Elation Skill currently being used. At the same time, the base SPD of "Aha Instant" climbs from 80 up to Aeon ★ Aha's own base SPD.
Aha Eidolons

| Eidolon | Effect |
| E1 Who Giggled at the Primordial Hush? | When entering combat, immediately gain 4 point(s) of "Wishpower," and merrymakes Elation DMG dealt by all ally targets by 15%. |
| E2 Between THEIR Eyes and Yours | Enhances Elation Path ascension effects |
| E3 A Stacked Deck of Sorrow and Joy | Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10. Elation Skill Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. |
| E4 A Joke's Fate Boxed in Black | Increases the multiplier of the True DMG dealt by Elation Skills by 25% of the original multiplier. When Aeon ★ Aha deals Elation DMG, an additional 100% of the cumulative "Certified Banger" stacks possessed by teammates will be taken into the account. |
| E5 Moi Onstage and Me Offstage | Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Elation Skill Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. |
| E6 For THEY Said: You Are Elation | Enemy targets always have the "Elation Debt" effect that is at least equal to 20% of the target's Max HP. The first time Aeon ★ Aha casts the Ultimate, Aha immediately gains 1 extra turn that adds a fixed 40 Punchline to the count. Each subsequent Ultimate cast advances the Aha's action by 20%. |

Best Relics for Aha
Best: 4-Piece Dreamlit Actor

For Aeon ★ Aha, no Relic set works in better harmony right now than Dreamlit Actor. A 6% SPD boost comes from its 2-Piece effect, while the ally hit by the wearer's Skill gains Elation from the 4-Piece effect. And once Aha has collected enough Certified Banger, additional CRIT DMG can be handed out to the whole team.
Aha and this set are a natural match: with Emanator of Elation, her Skill automatically lands on the team's main Elation DPS, letting her strengthen that character while also advancing her own Wishpower cycle.
Alternative: 4-Piece Diviner of Distant Reach

For a build that leans into SPD and personal damage, Diviner of Distant Reach makes a compelling alternative. The 2-Piece bonus hands you 6% SPD, extra CRIT Rate arrives once you cross the 120/160 SPD thresholds, and every ally gains Elation after the wearer fires off their first Elation Skill in a fight.
This option looks especially appealing when you can comfortably push Aha toward 160 SPD — she then collects the complete CRIT Rate bonus and takes more turns as well.
Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal: A Support Alternative

When the goal is support rather than raw offense, Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal can also do the job. Whichever ally the wearer aims a Skill or Ultimate at receives more CRIT DMG thanks to the 4-Piece effect, a natural fit for Aha, who keeps pointing her Skill at the team’s main Elation damage dealer.
Relic Priority:
Dreamlit Actor > Diviner of Distant Reach > Sacerdos’ Relived Ordeal
Planar Ornament Picks: The Best Options
Best: God’s Moment of Joy
Right now, no Planar Ornament serves Aha better than God’s Moment of Joy. Along with a 6% SPD boost, it advances the wearer’s action by 40% the moment combat starts — provided they carry at least 40% Elation.
For Aha, both halves of that package carry real value: extra SPD translates into more actions, quicker Wishpower generation and an easier path to her key SPD breakpoints, while the Action Advance at the opening of combat lets Emanator of Elation come online sooner.
Alternative: Broken Keel
Broken Keel works well as a team-focused alternative when you want the squad to gain more than Aha does. Besides granting Effect RES, it gives all allies a 10% CRIT DMG bonus once your Effect RES reaches 30%. In return, Aha gives up some personal tempo, while the rest of the team picks up extra utility.
Alternative: Sprightly Vonwacq
Whenever the order of your opening turns matters most, Sprightly Vonwacq becomes a solid option — hitting 120 SPD grants that same 40% initial Action Advance. For Aha in the current Beta, though, the Energy Regeneration Rate it offers carries less weight, since her Ultimate is triggered by 8 Wishpower instead of conventional Energy. Beebom
That being the case, her present kit usually pairs more cleanly with God’s Moment of Joy.
Planar Priority:
God’s Moment of Joy sits above both Broken Keel and Sprightly Vonwacq in the priority order.
How Main Stats and Substats Work
Rather than leaning on conventional ATK scaling, Aha's current Beta build puts heavy emphasis on SPD and CRIT. For the piece slots, what build databases currently point to is a CRIT Rate Body, SPD Feet, HP Planar Sphere, and DEF Link Rope.
| Relic Slot | Recommended Main Stat |
| Body | CRIT Rate |
| Feet | SPD |
| Planar Sphere | HP% |
| Link Rope | DEF% |
Substat Priority:SPD > CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > HP% / DEF%
For Aha, SPD stands out as a priority stat, since a major Trace breakpoint depends on it. Hit 125 SPD and her Elation gains 120%; at 150 SPD, that bonus climbs to 150%. Combat Skills
That's why 150 SPD should be treated as a major build target. And when you're running Diviner of Distant Reach, going further toward 160 SPD can also unlock the Relic set's maximum CRIT Rate bonus.
Standard Quantum DPS characters follow a different blueprint than Aha, whose current kit deals Quantum Elation DMG. Elation damage runs on a scaling system of its own, so it doesn't lean mainly on regular ATK% and DMG% buffs. That's why, in the current Beta, the recommended main stats are a defensive Sphere and Rope, with Elation, SPD, and CRIT doing the damage instead.
Best Aha Teams
Elation teams sit at the heart of Aeon ★ Aha's design. Her strongest synergy lies in upgrading the Path of Elation itself during Faces of Elation. That upgrade sharpens the team's Punchline-related mechanics and brings extra benefits online during Aha Instants. Combat Skills
Premium Elation Team
Sparxie![]() | Aeon ★ Aha![]() | Yao Guang![]() | Pearl![]() |
This setup ranks among the most natural full-Elation lineups for Aha in the current Beta. Sparxie serves as the main damage dealer, Aha adds Elation amplification and bonus damage, Yao Guang boosts the team's Elation output and its Aha Instant cycle, and Pearl fills the sustain slot. Current testing and guides from the pre-release period repeatedly feature this four-character core.
Generally speaking, Aha wants to apply Emanator of Elation to Sparxie in this setup. That state raises the chosen ally's Elation by 20%, and each turn that ally takes generates one Wishpower for Aha. Combat Skills
Silver Wolf LV.999 Team
Silver Wolf LV.999![]() | Aeon ★ Aha![]() | Yao Guang![]() | Pearl![]() |
The main DPS slot doesn't have to go to Sparxie. Silver Wolf LV.999 can claim it instead. Aha backs her up through Emanator of Elation and the stronger Elation mechanics that Faces of Elation brings online, while Yao Guang and Pearl round out the Elation core. This lineup also shows up often in early V1 testing, though it's still too early for exact comparisons pitting the Silver Wolf variant against the Sparxie one.
Conclusion
That wraps up our look at Aeon ★ Aha's skills and materials in Honkai: Star Rail. Her kit's Elation focus sets it apart, mixing team support with damage of her own, and she looks primed to become a crucial pick for Elation-based teams. Plan on pulling for her and building her? You can start preparing the Ascension and Trace materials she'll need ahead of time.
